RubyMoon

Over the last few days I have dedicated my time to working super hard for a new ethical business called Ruby Moon.  I was hired to model the latest swimwear. It was a long day but so much fun!  I was then asked to also retouch some of the images as the re toucher wasn't able to do it in the end. But me being me, I decided to edit far more than I was asked to so that RubyMoon have all fully edited images ready for the website.

The photos have already been sent off to all the major and local magasines with a press release, so fingers crossed I get my face and editing in a glossy mag! :0) So below is a little info about the company...

RubyMoon is a unique and new kind of ethical business. An e-commerce social enterprise that creates funds for microcredit by manufacturing and selling limited edition designer swimwear at cost price, plus a considerable loan contribution.

RubyMoon will make micro loans to women entrepreneurs, particuarly in areas where women & girls are most as risk from forced prostitution and trafficking.  Women Empowering Women.

The aim is for RubyMoon to make micro loans to help over 1200 women during the first four years of operation. Our ultimate long term goal is to be able to invest in 3500 women per year, including student loans.

Below are a small selection of photos from the shoot. Enjoy! And if you like the swimsuits you can buy them from March: http://www.rubymoon.org.uk

Photography by Gavin Rimmer (Fresh Pix Photography Ltd) and Kathleen Archery (Klickchick Photography). Lighting Assistant - James Hedley.  Designs by Jo-Anne Godden of RubyMoon. Make up by Emma Aldridge. And of course model and retoucher is me.
